Alfresco

If it were up to the babies, lunch would always be at a cafe. Preferably with outdoor seating and music. On our way home from Montessori today, Winnie made her usual homebound request. “Want to go eat Harry? Oh, okay. Let’s go eat. Let’s get some lunch. Mommy, I so hungry.”

Instead, we dined in the backyard. Only thing missing was the tunes. And a server by another name. 3X9A0047

Monkey Trucks

Mother’s Day at the Oceanfront means engines revving and metal crunching. I took our vehicle loving babies to watch Monster Trucks demolish one another on the sand. Winnie shrieks with delight over boats, trucks, motorcycles, trains, but the rally failed to impress. “Monkey trucks too loud for me.”3X9A0057-2

Maneuvering

I sold our coffee table, and the few extra feet of space has spurred Harry to action. He can now crawl with intention, stand up at the ballet bar, and babble with the best of them.
